handouts F/G/J/K (there is more than normal hw due to the number of class distractions that occurred during the class which left less time for class work).  There are a number of students who did not hand in the previous weeks homework.

Lion’s Den presentation May 28.  You will have been given 3 weeks to prepare for this presentation.  Please ensure that you put a full effort into this assignment.

Due May 22-  Journal #14:  Explain about a time when you or a friend was anxious or depressed.  Why and what happened.  From the guest speakers lecture, what can you do in the future to assist you or a friend who is going thru anxiety or depression?

There are still a number of journal 13s that were not handed in.

As a reminder, I have given out Applied Skills, and HCE homework this past week for work that you did not finish during class time

Applied Skills:

Market Day brand name/ logo (abstract, monogram, visual- pick two) and a slogan

Market Day Advertisement- include the guidelines from pages 255-257

Marketing quiz- taken directly from chapter 8 “test review” sheet handed out last week and from the review questions which have been posted with the answers on the black board for the past week.

If you have time, please watch an episode of “Shark Tank” to get an idea of what we will be doing next week.

We are starting a new unit about money.

Welcome back.  I trust everyone had a great spring break.  My spring break was good.  I spent most of it sleeping inn till 6am with my baby and then hanging out with him during the day (more like a spring break for mommy).
